A colposcopy is a procedure that allows a more detailed examination of the cervix using a special microscope called colposcope. During the examination, which is painless, the doctor “paints” the cervix and looks for areas that are responsible for the damaged cells identified on Pap smear. Hysteroscopy is a treatment-monitoring method of endometrial cavity, the interior of the uterus, using a special thin telescope inserted inside the uterus through the vagina and cervix. It is applicable and evidence in the investigation of a large group of gynecological problems such as uterine bleeding, polyps, fibroids, endometrial adhesions, infertility and  under investigation bleeding in menopause or accidental finding thickene endometrium at ultrasound to exclude endometrial cancer  in combination with therapeutic curettage.
